Jessica founded the Center for Hope & Healing, LLC in response to the overwhelming need of guidance, resources, support and effective intense treatment options for children and families struggling to manage their diagnosis of autism, pervasive developmental disorder, ADD/ADHD and sensory processing disorder. Her vision of changing the face of autism, coupled with direct intense training from Dr. Richard Solomon, M.D. and the creation of a fun, child-focused, social, family-oriented center puts her at the forefront of pediatric social-developmental therapy.
Jessica received her bachelor's degree in Psychology and her master's degree in Clinical Social Work both from Loyola University of Chicago. Jessica is certified as a Type 73 school social worker and worked for many years with special needs children and families at the elementary level. Jessica currently is part of the social work staff at Loyola Medical Center in Maywood specializing in crisis intervention, child abuse and psychiatric assessment and placement. Jessica has been trained, supervised and licensed by Dr. Richard Solomon, M.D. to implement the P.L.A.Y. Project® Home Consultant program. Dr. Solomon and his team have taken the brilliant work of Dr. Stanley Greenspan and Dr. Serena Weider's DIR®/Floortime™ approach and created an affordable, research-based, effective, intense developmental treatment for children with autism spectrum disorders. Jessica is proud to announce that CHH is the ONLY licensed provider of the P.L.A.Y. Project® in Chicago's Suburbs! In her free time Jessica loves to play softball, run, go to the movies and spend time with her three children, husband and 80 lb Labradoodle.
