Rachel holds a master's degree in dance/movement therapy and mental health counseling from Columbia College Chicago. Rachel is a licensed clinical counselor as well as registered dance/movement therapist, and strives to meld various treatment modalities to best fit each client's needs. Rachel has worked within the child welfare system and residential treatment realm for over six years serving children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of disorders including autism, developmental delays, attachment disorders, anxiety and mood disorders, eating disorders, ADHD and impulse control disorders. Rachel is trained in various relationship based treatment modalities including DIR/Floortime and play therapy.

Rachel is also interested in making the arts available to all clients no matter their level of functioning or need. Rachel is passionate about dance/movement as well as other creative arts as therapeutic outlets for self expression and communication, relationship building, social skill building and fostering each individual's unique creative process.

In her spare time, Rachel enjoys reading, dancing, running, and attending Zumba classes whenever possible. Rachel also enjoys spending time with her future husband and two cats.
