Tamara holds a master's degree in Early Childhood Development from Erikson Institute and is a graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC). Her creativity and deep commitment to social-emotional learning guides her work. Tamara enjoys working on multi-disciplinary teams and collaborating with other professionals.

Tamara has over eight years of experience using the DIR®/Floortime model. She also has extensive experience in inclusion, advocacy, and policy making in the areas of disability and education. She has worked with children and families affected by developmental disabilities, communication disorders, and hearing loss. Her desire is to empower and assist parents by providing support, information and resources that enable families to be successful and fulfill their families' dreams. She believes in POSSIBILITIES!

When Tamara is not on the floor you can find her dreaming, drawing, riding her bike, listening to music, and playing with her own family, including her pup, Daffodil. In addition, she gives her time and energy to several non-profits that advocate for families with special needs. She enjoys furthering her own professional development through collaborations, trainings, workshops, and research.
